There’s nothing quite like a walk along the Cornish coast — fresh sea air, stunning views, and sandy paws at the end of it. Whether you’ve just enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the beach with your dog or tackled a longer coastal ramble, The Beach House is the perfect place to pause, refuel and relax.
We’re proudly dog-friendly, so muddy boots and wagging tails are always welcome. After a bracing walk by the sea, there’s nothing better than settling in with a great coffee, something delicious from our menu, and a well-earned rest — for both you and your four-legged friend.
You’ll find us right along the Cornish Coastal Path, making us an ideal stop whether you’re heading towards Looe or Downderry. Walkers often tell us it’s the perfect halfway (or reward!) stop — a chance to warm up, soak in the views and enjoy some quality food and drink before continuing on your journey.
If you prefer something a little more tranquil, the beautiful Seaton Valley offers a peaceful escape inland. You can enjoy a scenic walk all the way from Hessenford, following the river through the valley before arriving at the coast — and straight to us. It’s a favourite route for dog walkers and nature lovers alike.
So next time you’re exploring the coast, wandering the valley, or simply enjoying a beach walk with your dog, pop in and see us. We’ll have the coffee on, the kitchen ready, and a warm welcome waiting for you at The Beach House.
